Your Right to Data Deletion

At Sirsi Taluka Agricultural Produce Co-Operative Marketing Society Ltd. ("TMS SIRSI"), we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. You may request the deletion of any personal information we have collected about you through our website, WhatsApp Business communications, or other interactions.

What Data Can Be Deleted

Upon your request, we can delete the following data associated with your account or interactions:

  • Your name and contact details (phone number, email address).
  • WhatsApp conversation history stored on our end.
  • Any enquiry or order history linked to your contact information.
  • Any other personal data we have collected from you.

How to Request Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your data through any of the following methods:

Option 1: Via WhatsApp

Send a message to our WhatsApp Business number with the text "DELETE MY DATA". We will verify your identity and process your request.

Option 2: Via Email

Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include the following details:

  • Your full name.
  • The phone number or email associated with your interactions.
  • A brief description of what data you want deleted.

Option 3: Via Phone

Call us at 08384 236239 during business hours (Mon–Sat, 9 AM – 6 PM) and request data deletion. Our team will guide you through the process.

Processing Timeline

  • We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days.
  • Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of verification.
  • You will receive a confirmation once the deletion is complete.

Exceptions

Certain data may be retained if required by law, including:

  • Transaction records required for tax or audit purposes.
  • Data necessary to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.
  • Anonymised or aggregated data that cannot identify you personally.
